Quinta Cuyutlan is a typical, casual, big family beach house that was originally a private retreat for a wealthy Guadalajara family in the 1940s or 50s.
A mixture of styles, Morocan, Deco, Mexican and Period Modern make it a charmer with lots of character. Reminiscent of a vintage Key West House on a Mexican Beach.
One of the favorite features is the second floor beach-side terrace, with complete bar setup, which houses the best view and incredible ambiance for cocktails, sunsets, and meals with seating for up to 15 persons.
There are 6 bedrooms with the master at the quiet rear downstairs which runs the width of the house and has a fantastic art deco bath with open shower. All guest suites are upstairs and most have their own bath. The only exception is the "kids suite" which has it's own terrace but shares a bath.
Downstairs is an extremely well equipped kitchen with two large stoves, two refrigerators, blenders, toasters, microwave and everything needed to make cooking fun. There is an open floor plan with a large living room and dining room which flows into the kitchen and the pool terrace beyond.
The pool is large, solar heated, not too deep and just right for those fun pool games or exercises. It has its own full bath as well as under roof living and dining terrace.
The entire property is private and secure with 12 foot walls. There is inside parking for one vehicle.
Quinta, which translates to "country home", fronts on the boardwalk malecon and is the perfect beach escape.
It has been run as a bed and breakfast and is a popular income generating rental. Guest enjoy lounging by the crystalline pool with a good book or lying under an umbrella on the black sable sand beach right in front of the property
